Created in collaboration with WeTransfer and Indigenous Brazilian filmmaker Eric Terena, ‘O futuro é Indígena’ (The Future is Indigenous) is a photo series spotlighting Indigenous leaders who are raising awareness.⁠

Captured using a set-up usually reserved for actors and models, the photo series was a celebration of Indigenous traditions and a tribute to having resisted hundreds of years of cultural erasure since colonisation began.

Indigenous communities across Brazil are under grave threat as they work tirelessly to protect their homes, cultures and the ecosystems on which we all depend.
