‘The Ghost Rainforest’ is a short film told through the eyes of Indigenous activist Narubia Werreria.

The film follows a group of five Indigenous leaders and activists from the Amazon, making an emotionally charged journey to the last remnant of a lost ecosystem; a desperately rare temperate rainforest habitat on the West Coast of Scotland.

Indigenous people make up only 5% of the world's population, yet they steward and protect over 80% of the world's biodiversity. These voices hold the answers we so desperately need.
